What’s the best way to dine at Wren?

August 2, 2023

Hard to say, as Wren provides so many experiences! From an izakaya style dinner, to curated cocktails, to drinks with a breeze on the Terrace, to Omakase, Wren is ready to make your next special occasion memorable.

First and foremost, Wren is your destination for a long, relaxing meal with friends, family or coworkers – and serves as the perfect spot before catching a show at Capital One Hall. Executive Chef Yo Matsuzaki and his team offer his special Izakaya experience, in which Wren’s culinary leader guides guests through the menu in five courses. This dining concept is intended to be shared and enjoyed “family-style”. The Izakaya Experience allows the talented culinary team to make the hard decisions of what to order. Start with some lighter options, such as Maguro Tuna Tartare and Oysters, then move on to Roasted Baby Beets with Mascarpone cheese and Corn & Seabean Tempura. No meal at Wren is complete without their famous Tokyo Fried Chicken, which will come out alongside Miso-marinated Black Cod over fried rice. Your Izakaya Experience will end on a high note with Mochi Donuts with Match Crème Anglaise and daily featured soft serve ice cream.

Not a lot of time on your hands or dining alone? Wren's dedicated team is here to take great care of you! Wren is an easy decision for a great glass of wine, sake, cold beer or craft cocktail, and quick bite of Tokyo Chicken or Pork Belly Bao Buns. Their space and menu is designed to cater to all comers, every night.

Wren also features a beautiful terrace overlooking The Perch. The full menu is offered al fresco every day in season.

If you are a sushi connoisseur, the Monday night Omakase feature is not to be missed. Led by Executive Sous Chef James Hobin Kim and Beverage Director Masha Yelnikova, guests will be guided through 21 courses of a best-in-class sushi and beverage pairing experience.

Looking to elevate your experience? How about a tableside smoked cocktail, or a martini with a caviar bump? Also available in Wren’s full caviar service showcasing the gold standard in seafood luxury dining, Beluga caviar.

Chef Yo is ready to serve his satisfying fare no matter where you end up settling in at Wren. At the bar, at a table overlooking Tysons, on the beautiful terrace or one of the comfy “living room” spaces sprinkled throughout the lobby. Wren’s team is ready to serve you for an experience #LikeNoOther!
