Capital One Center Presents: Easter at The Perch

Break out your pastels and join us for the ultimate Easter Egg Hunt, Color Fun Run, and springtime festivities!

What: Capital One Center announces Easter at The Perch, which will be held on Saturday, April 19th. Guests can enjoy the ultimate Easter Egg Hunt with 3,000 eggs at The Perch – a 3 acre sky park 11 stories in the sky with sweeping views of Tysons. The Perch offers an 18-hole miniature golf experience and food trucks at Perch Putt, with live music and brews at Starr Hill Biergarten. Event activities will include a petting zoo with alpacas, bunnies and baby goats, a meet and greet with the Easter Bunny, and special experiences from Capital One Center partners — including free manicures from Nothing in Between, a pop-up of Flore Cafe serving festive hot chocolate, coffee, and artisan gelato, and Capital One Hall’s pop-up box office offering fee-free tickets.

New adult-centric Easter activities include Goat Yoga, a “Paint and Sip” class – and don’t miss Perch Putt’s festive spring beverages and DJ entertainment! Think: mimosas, a Spring Equinox White Sangria and Red Sangria, and “Bunny Marys!”

Beyond The Perch: The event kicks off with Capital One Center’s inaugural Color Fun Run, offering runners (or walkers) the opportunity to get splattered with pastel colors during a 1-mile fun run. Also, don’t miss Wolf Trap Animal Rescue’s Puppy Party, with adoptable puppies on the Stellina Pizzeria Patio, along with facepainting. The entire campus will be turned into the ultimate Easter destination!

About Wolf Trap Animal Rescue

Founded in 2015, Wolf Trap Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the primary mission to operate a life-saving animal rescue transport and adoption program. These transports operate weekly, where hundreds of homeless puppies and kittens are relocated from Mississippi to awaiting foster homes in Northern Virginia. Relocating these pets helps to prevent shelters from overcrowding and unnecessary euthanasia—providing the only hope for these pets to find a home. Once transported into WTAR’s foster program in Northern Virginia, rescued pets are provided all the necessary veterinary care and training they need until they find their perfect forever home through WTAR’s adoption program.  Since 2015, Wolf Trap Animal Rescue has rescued and adopted nearly 10,000 homeless pets in need.
